Back by popular Demand, the Madness X Factor Karaoke competition begins in October at Madness Theatre of Fun, Glasgow, and will see Scotland's best vocal talents fight it out for the title of Madness X Factor Champion 2011/12.
This Brand New Website will keep you updated on who to look out for during the contest, News, who the judges are, how the competition works, how the prize money is divided and extras like catching up with past winners.
With a new host, new judges, new twists to the original format, extra prizes and so much more, this year's Madness X Factor Karaoke Competition will be the best one yet!

After the quarter final stage, photos and bios will be put up of each of the Semi finalists.

The Final will be a grand affair, so Suits, Kilts or a Tux for the men, and the finest dresses and evening wear for the ladies.
As always, you will pick your three song choices and will have to sing all three on the night.
Your first song will be scored by the judges, but no comments or feedback will be given to you until after your second song.
On the final each customer will once again be presented with a voting card which will go towards your final score.

In the quarter finals and semi finals, you may be asked to perform all three songs.
In these rounds you won't just have to impress the judges, but you will also have to impress the croud as each individual will be presented with a voting card upon arrival.
Come along, register and perform on the night from 9pm.
You will be asked to pick three songs from our selection of over 100,000 karaoke tracks. If you prefer to bring your own backing tracks, then feel free to bring along a cd for us.
We will then pick 2 of your song choices for you to sing in front of our panel of judges.
You will be marked on singing ability, stage presence, dress and entertainment value.
The winners of each heat will be announced at the end of the competition heat.
The Judges for this years karaoke competition have not yet been picked.
Each judge will have experience as either a musical performer, a talent scout, a booking agent, or an entertainment venue owner/manager
You will perform in front of a panel of judges who will mark you on your singing ability, stage presence, dress, and over all ability to entertain the crowd.
For the past 5 years, Disco Dave has been one of the people handling the technical side of the Madness Karaoke competitions, taking your entry forms, finding the contestants songs, and lighting the stage to suit each performace.

Ok so Catherine didn't win, but she won the heart of the judges and of the crowd.
Catherine, from Rutherglen, has entered our competition time and time again and has even entered the real X Factor and got through to bootcamp after changing the words of the song 'Bobby's Girl' to 'Loui's Girl' for the X Factor judge.
Kevin won our competition in 2007 stealing the show with his rendition of Nessun Dorma.
Since then, Kevin has went on to become Scotland's Favourite Michael Buble Tribute, touring the UK with his show.

Georgina won over the judges in last years competition with her vocal talents and fun loving personality.
The competition was so close this year that Georgina and another contestant were forced into a final singoff to decide the winner!

Angela Crawford won our competiton 2 years ago blowing away the judges with the Etta James classic 'At Last'
As part of her prize for winning the competition, we recorded Angela on disc, click below to hear her perform 'At Last'.
Ruth won our competition in 2008 and blew the judges away with Kiki Dee's 'I got the music in me'.
Ruth was later invited back to perform a few cabaret slots in Madness.
Mr Onkel won 3rd place in 2009's competition with his high energy, great stage presence and sweet soul music.

Rikki Loney won 3rd place in
2007's competition and later auditioned to the Real X Factor where he got through to the final 12 and made it onto the live shows with Cheryl Cole as his mentor.
